Founded by A. Michael Byrd (Antonio) and Tai Parquet,
unites more than 40 years of combined filmmaking expertise devoted to creating raw, emotional, and truth-driven stories that deeply resonate with audiences.
Our Origin Story
were planted long before our official launch. Antonio and Tai’s paths first crossed while working at Henrietta Johnson Medical Center (HJMC) where they developed a friendship. Years later after HJMC, they discovered their shared vision for cinema that prioritizes authenticity and impact. After years of honing their craft separately-Antonio focusing on his filmmaking locally as the Director of Media & Cinematography at the Delaware State Bar Association and Tai developing expertise in documentary filmmaking becoming a Sundance Alumni – they reunited to create a production company that would embody their values and aspirations for the film industry. 
Our name encapsulates our core belief that film captures fragments of reality—moments in time that, when assembled with intention and purpose, reveal profound truths about our world. The Adinkrahene symbol in our logo—inplaced of the “O” in —represents leadership, charisma, and authority in traditional African symbolism. It symbolizes our commitment to leading the way in authentic, impactful independent cinema.

A seasoned documentary filmmaker, Tai specializes in writing, directing, and editing stories that center marginalized voices and reveal emotional depth within social struggles. With over two decades in independent cinema, Tai’s projects—such as Film Hawk and Keeping the Peace—blend poetic imagery with raw, heartfelt storytelling.
